The container massacre at el-beshti camp in the
city of al khums 6 jun 2011
In a camp consisting of a group of metal containers for goods in the city of al khums 120 km east of Tripoli
The Gaddafi Brigades used the place as a detainee, for interrogation and torture
the camp named as " beshti camp "
In the months of April to the end of July 2011
Dozens of Misurata, Zliten, Al-Khums and Tarhona were arrested , detained there
On June 6, 2011, after weeks of starvation and torture continued inside the metal containers
Gaddafi gangs decided to lock containers tightly on a group of 19 people mostly from the city of alkhums
In the midst of hot weather in the summer, and with a lack of oxygen and eating , the red color container became A mass grave for them, and one of the Kadhafi militias completed the mission by firing randomly at the hull of the container from the outside to completely eliminate any glimmer of life inside.
reported 19 civilians killed inside that container , and others killed in the camp by different ways
Some of the bodies were hastily moved to a mountainous area south of gheryan city called "Arban" that remains until this moment a supporter of the Gaddafi regime
The bodies found as skeletons , some parts of the victims' clothing and bodies, buried under the rocks
The commander of the camp where the massacre took place, an officer in the Libyan army named Ali al-Beshti
And with him a lot of officers and soldiers involved in this massacre
They are still free, and most of them have now joined the fight under authority of Hafter in Benghazi, Bani Walid, Tarhouna, Zintan, Brak Shati, Sabha and wershfana.
The bodies were covered with rocks without burial

So far, seven years after this crime, the victims' families have not been able to obtain their legal rights to prosecute criminals
Note that the municipal council in the khums has the names of the accused, and confirms that many of them are in Libya or in other countries outside, and all of them support fighting alongside Hafter
